A low-carbon economic stimulus after Covid-19

For months Covid-19 has become our main concern and the threat of climate change has been pushed aside. Institutions have directed their attention towards saving and protecting lives. Furthermore, there has been a drastic loss in jobs and revenue. According to McKinsey, a quick return to business as usual (before the outburst of the virus) may be damaging for the environment. Many are scared of repeating past events like the time after the financial crisis in 2007-08. The period after the pandemic will show if earth meets the emissions goals of the 2015 Paris Agreement. - Peter M & Lena B.
