Every industry is trying to figure out ways of adapting to life during this pandemic. McKinsey has analysed closely the implications for six sectors, one of which is ‘consumer goods’. Latest research shows that in comparison to last year, today’s consumers are coming to big brands they know and trust. Whilst these companies only made up 16% of the industry’s growth in 2015-18, the number rose to 39% in 2018-19, and in April of this year (2020) already reached 55%. - Peter M. & Lena B.
