COVID-19: Implications for business

Based on an article published by McKinney, the COVID-19 pandemic has moved almost all sales online, often to self-service digital platforms, and everyone seems to be happier with the new arrangements. Furthermore, McKinsey's research has documented the disproportionate effects of the crisis on ethnic minorities, both in the United States and elsewhere. Based on their latest report on this topic in the United Kingdom, over the past two decades, every ethnic minority group has made progress, in both absolute terms and relative to the white majority, on a range of economic indicators (exhibit).
