How European shoppers will buy groceries in the next normal

During this pandemic, food has become the focus of consumers’ lives. In the current extraordinary times, consumer behaviors continue to change. Even if some customers are very satisfied with their online-shopping experiences say they plan to return to physical stores. A survey across EU-5 consumers showed that the United Kingdom will increase online grocery shopping by +5% compared to the other countries. At the same time, also for physical shops, the price will continue to take priority over proximity when choosing a store, due to economic pressure bringing from Covid.
