Even if some customers are very satisfied with their online-shopping experiences say they plan to return to physical stores. A survey across EU-5 consumers showed that the United Kingdom will increase online grocery shopping by +5% compared to the other countries. At the same time, also for physical shops, the price will continue to take priority over proximity when choosing a store, due to economic pressure bringing from Covid.
